Early Arrivals

• Football Move In: Aug. 12
• Group Early Arrivals Start: Aug. 14
  • Date of arrival determined by group
  • Early Arrival apps due MINIMUM 5 days prior to arrival
• Personal Early Arrivals: Aug. 19
  • Early Arrival apps due MINIMUM 5 days prior to arrival

Move In

• New Student Move In: Friday, Aug. 23 @ 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Specific move in time based on housing assignment; more detailed information will be sent to student’s AU emails in July.
• Returning Student Move In: Sunday, Aug. 25 @ 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Room Changes (Fall Semester)

• Room Freeze: Aug. 25 – Sept. 13
• Room Change Request Form Opens: Sept. 16
• Room Changes End: Oct. 25
• Room Freeze: Oct. 26 – Dec. 13

Thanksgiving Break

Residence Halls Close, Students can stay with break application

• Halls Close: Tuesday, Nov. 26 @ 6 p.m. – Nov. 30 @ 10 a.m.
• Applications Due: Nov. 19 @ 8 a.m.

Winter Break

Residence Halls Close, Students can stay with break application

• Halls Close: Friday, Dec. 13 @ 6 p.m. – Sunday, Jan. 5 @ 10 a.m.
• Applications Due: Dec. 6 @ 8 a.m.

Spring 2025 Semester

Spring Semester Move In

• Returning Students Halls Open: Jan. 5 @ 10 a.m.
• New Student Check-In: Jan. 5 @ 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. in OSRL

Room Changes (Spring Semester)

• Room Freeze: January 5 – Jan. 19
• Room Change Request Form Opens: Jan. 20
• Room Changes End: March 14
• Room Freeze: March 15 – May 3

Spring Break

Residence Halls Close, Students can stay with break application

• Halls Close: Friday, Feb. 28 @ 6 p.m. – Sunday, March 9 @ 10 a.m.
