Works from 25 artists featured in “CLIMATE” exhibition at AU, starting Aug. 29
ASHLAND, Ohio – The opening exhibition of the 2024-25 academic year at Ashland University’s Coburn Gallery will be “CLIMATE,” a regional juried exhibition featuring 25 Ohio-based artists. There will be an opening reception on Thursday, Aug. 29, from 4:30-6:30 p.m., and then it will run through Saturday, Sept. 28. It is free and open to the public.
“CLIMATE” explores notions about the landscapes in their region and the human influence within these environments. The exhibition was curated by Cynthia Petry, director of the Coburn Gallery and assistant professor of art.
The exhibition features the following artists: Clare Murray Adams, Doug Becht, April Bleakney, Karen Albanese Campbell, Susan Danko, Jihae Dick, Aaron Ellison, Sophia Hoersten, Michael Hornyak, Jackie Jeromin, Joyce Morrow Jones, Jordan Lee, Marty Bossler Lee, Selena Loomis, Irv Oslin, Natalie Petrosky, Robin Roberts, Andre Rubin, Jennifer Sowders, Mary Beth Stauffer, Christopher Triner, Jessica Wascak, Heidi Weller, Grace Worley and Eric Zeigler.
