Three November concerts planned by AU music department
10/22/2020 ASHLAND, Ohio – The Ashland University Department of Music will offer three upcoming concerts in Hugo Young Theatre. All are free admission, but require a pre-issued ticket. Seating will be limited due to current state COVID-19 requirements.
On Thursday, Nov. 19 at 7:30 p.m., a concert will feature several small ensembles: String Ensemble, Horn Ensemble, Jazz Combo and Percussion Ensemble.
On Friday, Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m., the Ashland University Symphonic Band will perform under the direction of Director of Bands Joe Lewis.
On Saturday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m., the Ashland University Jazz Orchestra will perform under the direction of Dr. Scott Garlock.
Free tickets for all three events are available through the A.U. Campus Store. Call 419-289-5336 or visit the Campus Store in the Hawkins-Conard Student Center during business hours to request tickets. Tickets are required for admission and will not be available at the door.
All patrons will be required to wear face coverings and maintain social distancing. Events are subject to change depending on local and state COVID-19 guidelines. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
