This unconventional musical song cycle was inspired by a mixture of Einstein’s famous theories, the many numbers of Pi, as well as college students and their real life experiences of love and loss. The show has a diverse cast of characters -- some who struggle with great expectations, others who have suffered the betrayal of a loved one, as well as those who must cope with a constantly changing world. It tells the stories of young people seamlessly intertwining their lives and voices with the precision of a scientific equation.
The cast includes seniors Macy Campbell (Genoa), AnnMarie Hill (Mansfield), Mia Kardotzke (Green Springs), David Tomlinson (Parma Heights); juniors Syd Genter (Mansfield), Katie Harrigan (Ashland), Matt Plumb (Elyria); sophomores Gavin Beck (Mansfield), Katie Snell (Sandusky), Lauren Vladyka (Willowick); and freshmen Tobin Grendzynski (North Ridgeville), Anthony Marchetta (Brecksville) and Mattie Vermilya (Findlay).
Guest artists on the production staff are Deb Logan, music director; Seth Morrison, technical director and scenic and lighting designer; D. Justin Bilewicz, costume designer; Katie Gibson, choreographer; Shley Snider, dramaturg. Students on the staff include Tristan Peterman (Dennison), projections designer; Sarah Graham (Kettering), stage manager; Belle Ayala (Parma) and Camden Edwards (Sunbury), assistant stage managers; and Lila Wolfe (Mansfield), Bethany Double (Farmdale) and Tyler Rice (Columbus), videographers.
