AU hosting Homeschool Conference on Friday, March 15
ASHLAND, Ohio – Ashland University will be hosting a Homeschool Conference on Friday, March 15, at the John C. Myers Convocation Center, from 4-8 p.m. This will be the first of what Theresa Watson, coordinator of AU’s Homeschool and Classical Learning Center, expects to become an annual event.
The purpose of the conference is to bring families from the homeschooling community together to make connections, share ideas and receive practical advice for implementing effective homeschool strategies.
Israel Wayne, the co-founder and director of Family Renewal, will deliver a keynote address. Wayne, a homeschooling parent of 11 children, is an author of seven books and a sought-after speaker who has a passion for defending the Christian faith and promoting a biblical worldview. He is the site editor of ChristianWorldview.net and travels the country speaking on family, homeschooling, apologetics, spiritual awakening, discipleship and cultural issues.
A buffet dinner will be served. Tickets are $15 per person or $25 per person. Please register ahead of time here. Registration ends Friday, March 8.
